Project: CoachMyLife quality of life research project
Acronym | CoachMyLife (Reference Number: aal-2018-5-120-CP) |
Duration | 01/07/2019 - 01/07/2022 |
Project Topic | CoachMyLife targets mainly older people to help them to perform activities of the daily living but also to reduce/stabilise memory impairment. By using a smartwatch and localization Bluetooth beacons, we are able to infer the activity that is being performed, through machine learning. Finally, activity steps reminder will be displayed on screens. End-users (both people with memory impairment or not) will help us in the design of the whole solution to meet the usability and accessibility requirements. At least 2 cycle of feedbacks will organised the first year. Psychosocial feedbacks will be gathered from informal caregivers, to measure effects on their burden. Formal carers will be frequently consulted to explore and validate new value proposition. The solution will be tested during 2 pilot studies, in Switzerland and Romania, by installing specific sensors package in the private living space of participants. Social workers and GP’s will be involved to gather informal feedbacks. Pharmacies are the main stream to sell the solution to older people. |
