Project: Technology driven self-management for building resilience among people with early stage cognitive impairment
Acronym | RESILIEN-T (Reference Number: aal-2018-5-82-CP) |
Duration | 01/03/2019 - 01/03/2022 |
Project Topic | Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) causes mild but measurable changes in cognitive abilities in people. These changes are greater than would be expected for the affected person’s age, but they do not affect the individual’s ability to carry out everyday activities. Resilient ICT solution represent an effective tool to support self-monitoring and self-management that could complement traditional clinical approaches by coaching persons with MCI on how to live the best possible quality of life. Resilien-T project is designed with an open approach to integrate the coaching and self-monitoring system into other smart wearable gadgets or lifestyle monitoring system. The design of RESILIEN-T will be conducted with close involvement of persons with MCI using methodologies that consider the complexity of designing valuable, integrated technologies for people with cognitive impairment. Resilien-T Project will feature a field trial in all four consortium partner countries. |
