Project Topic 1. Challenges addressed and AAL-solutions proposed:The actual care models suffer under a limitation of available resources in combination with a steadily rising demand. FairCare, a network based solution for collaborative future care, optimizes the allocation of resources and overcomes organizational boundaries by re-orchestrating care and service processes as well as matching primary end-users´ needs with supply. The solution consist of an easy to use, access and integrate web-based platform and of a social franchise concept that allows standardized, efficient, scalable and high quality offline processes. 2. Target groups for the AAL-solution proposal:FairCare addresses all participants of professional as well as informal care giving and third party service providers. This includes professionally managed and local volunteer networks. 3. Technology to be employed:The software architecture will allow multisite functionalities, software localization, scalability, extensibility and interoperability through webservices. The technology stack will be based on latest the JAVA EE 7 reference implementations plus standard tools & concepts (IoC, DI, Dynamic HTML, AJAX, GlassFish server etc.). 4. Business model:The FairCare Association (NPO) will provide and further develop the social franchise and ICT-based platform. National platform providers will pay a basic fee and will generate income through the formal care organisations, service providers and per match making. NPOs and municipally voluntary networks will as local social franchisees pay a low franchise fee and will receive franchise manuals and certification rights This model allows a fast European exploitation. 5. End user participation:PE (980), informal (4.000) and formal (1.385) SE and service providers (110) will be strongly involved in the requirements & process analysis, the design & development of the end-user centric solution and the piloting phase. In all involved countries tests will be carried out.
