| Project Topic | 1. Challenges addressed and AAL-solutions proposed To promote leisure and social participation to events in theaters, museums and concert halls through STAGE, an ICT streaming platform for the benefit of older people. 2. Target groups for the AAL-solution proposal Older people wanting to attend cultural events/shows at home can access a streaming platform for cultural events broadcasting. They also interface with a dedicated social network for exchanging ideas, experiences, suggestions on cultural events and themes. Users can also access informative and training content through an integrated elearning-like feature. 3. Technology to be employed 1) Stream machine and equipment for broadcasting. 2) Dedicated platform consisting of: server-side for content ingestion and management; client-side for users to select, buy and view events. 3) Social network for sharing ideas and comments on cultural events. 4) E-learning-like feature providing information on cultural events. 4. Business model The proposal targets the market sector related to participation in cultural events through ICTs. In particular, it addresses the fruition of streamed cultural content by older people, so it aims at exploiting the market resources available in this field by introducing an innovative ICT product with a clearly defined target consumer base. 5. End user participation Older users of 3 countries will be involved in: - user requirements; - co-design; - training; - testing and evaluation; - dissemination. |
