Project Topic	1. Challenges addressed and AAL-solutions proposed Ageing, along with all the demerits it bears, is inevitable. A big challenge of most developed societies is to keep senior adults active, maintaining a good mental and physical health. The moment of retirement comprises a crucial point where a person stops a habit that he or she has been doing for maybe more than half his/her life and most of the times turns to inactivity. AAL aims to help senior adults not let go and intrigue them to continue offering their valuable experience to the ones who need it. 2. Target groups for the AAL-solution proposal Senior adults is the core group of this AAL, who will benefit from a user-friendly platform that will help them remain active members of the society coming into contact and assist the another target group, the users who will require senior adult’s assistance. The later group Is practically every person, company or enterprise who would need the knowledge of an experienced professional. 3. Technology to be employed A social platform that will be the main means of communication among users, a mobile application for the ones who are able to exploit their smart phones options, a sophisticated behavioural analysis model and a multi-modal, senior-friendly interface are among the technologically advanced features of this proposal. 4. Business model Two complementary business models will be followed: VAS together with Freemium model wherever VAS turns out to be complex and hard to achieve. The innovative, integrated ICT based products, services and system requested by the project can become a basis for a world leading position for European industry. 5. End user participation Senior end-user is highly motivated to participate in this initiative, others for the mental and physical benefits, some others will find it interesting to help other society members with their knowledge and finally some may find attractive the possibility of extra income.
