| Project Topic | Cost-efficient solutions to mitigate solvent degradation will accelerate large scale implementation of CCS. Within ALIGN-CCUS (funded by ACT1), TNO has developed and patented3 the Dissolved Oxygen Removal Apparatus (DORA): a membrane contactor used to remove dissolved O2 from the amine-based solvent, limiting degradation and prolonging solvent lifetime. MeDORA will advance the DORA technology, bringing it to TRL8 by demonstrating stable long-term operations. |
