ACT Second Call

Basic Information

The intention of ACT is to facilitate the emergence of CCUS by accelerating and maturing CCUS technology through targeted financing of innovation and research activities. ACT will address the technological, environmental, social and economic challenges required to accelerate CCUS.

Aim of the joint call For the first ACT call, published in 2016, a total of 10 partners from 9 European countries joined forces and together with top-up funding from the European Commission made 37 million Euros available for research and innovation actions related to CO2 Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS). The initiative is called ACT – Accelerating CCUS Technologies. The ambition of ACT is to facilitate the emergence of CCUS via transnational funding of projects aimed at accelerating and maturing CCUS technology application through targeted innovation and research activities. There were 8 projects funded under the first call.
