Project: The Impact of climate change on Mediterranean intertidal communities: Losses in coastal ecosystem integrity and services.
Intermed analyzes the impact of global change on coastal biodiversity and local communities. The ‘intertidal’ ecosystem is the space between high tide and low tide lines along maritime coasts. Species in this space live between emersion and submersion and are therefore vulnerable to perturbations in both environments, terrestrial and maritime.
