| Project Topic | The project aims to bring to market-readiness our new vision-based tree-fruit measuring technology, by developing our novel, high power image capture & processing units to provide individual time-series data on yield factors such as fruit size, colour, growth rate and tree architecture. This can be used to implement precision management practices at the single tree level within an orchard, increasing class 1 yield by over 25%, halving waste & generating €2500/ha improvement in profitability. |
