Project Topic	The EXACT-MS project will develop a new mass-spectrometry based system to scan checked baggage at commercial passenger airports for traces of explosives. The partners have experience of the component parts and technologies and their necessary combination (proof of concept of a product), and within the project will build a prototype baggage scanner, validate its performance against internationally recognised guidelines, and carry out a pilot field trial at an international airport.
