| Project Topic | Baby Viewer will develop a low-cost ultrasound device to identify neonatal and maternal risks in pregnant women (ante-natal care, ANC). This novel product consists of an ultrasound imaging transducer (probe) easily connecting to smartphones via Bluetooth. This low-cost device can visualize the unborn child, detect risk factors and complications. The unique device will make ultrasound imaging affordable and accessible to low- to mid-income countries (LMIC) and reduce maternal mortality. |
