| Project Topic | The project will lead to the development of a pump/motor unit that is specifically designed and tested to meet the stringent requirements of a radically novel, non-surgical ventricular assist device (VAD) that has been conceptualized by the main project partner, Nuheart. Nuheart will be responsible for pump design, coordination with external R&D partners and suppliers, and for the overall project management. Maxon Motor will be responsible for the development and production of a sealed motor. |
