Project: Subtractive and additive repair of flexible AMOLED displays
Acronym | RePlay (Reference Number: 11129) |
Duration | 01/05/2017 |
Project Topic | The aim of the project is to develop subtractive and additive techniques for two specific market areas: 1) Repairing pixel defects on flexible AMOLED displays. Two laser-based processing heads will be set up – one for removing and one for adding conductive material. Both will be prepared for integrating into one display repairing machine. 2) Interconnecting Surface Mount Devices (SMD) to 3D Printed Electronics (3D PE). As with the AMOLED case, two processing heads will be set up in a 3D Printer. |
