Project: Development of a medical device - powder in a specific dispenser - to achieve haemostasis

Surgery involves a degree of bleeding which must be controlled. Responding to surgical and market demands, HEMOSPRAY aims to develop an innovative dispenser to deliver a new haemostatic powder which will considerably change operating room haemostasis control practices. This will include design, prototyping and validation of the novel dispenser which will deliver the easily dispensable powder solution, without any preparation, in a more efficient and effective way to benefit surgical practice.
