Project: Development of laser technology (PixelJet) for mass production of accurate surface structures

Lasertec and Time Bandwidth Products (TBP) will develop laser technology for production of functional textures on a variety of surfaces at the scale and cost price of mass production. Within the project a high power, high frequency picosecond laser is developed, which will be integrated in a laser processing equipment with an innovative polygon scan head. Both technology improvements will enable a 20 x faster and very accurate laser machining process than state-of-the-art technology can deliver.
