Project: Electronic Monitoring of skin pressures inside spinal BRACEs for enhanced therapeutic outcomes

The project will carry out the design of two devices assessing the therapeutic effects of spinal braces through by the means of a 100% textile pressure sensors worn under the brace. The first device, called HRV will map the pressures between the brace and the entire torso of the patient in order to provide an efficient assessment of the brace to the clinicians. The second one, called LRV, will be used to daily monitor the corrective effects on the patient’s pathology.
