Project: Monitoring Agriculture with SAR Combined with Optical Time Series

The MASCOTS project will develop and demonstrate innovative semi-automated software and subscription-based web services using new advanced European radar and optical satellite technology, providing cheaper and more reliable large area image time-series of crop type and field conditions for users in the agriculture sector. Herewith, users can achieve increased revenues and cost savings while reducing the use of fertilizers, pesticides and water, and report sustainable sourcing of raw materials.
