| Project Topic | 8KSVIP will deliver the world's first cost effective network and SDI bridges for broadcast studios to connect devices with Ultra-2 High Definition (UHD-2 or 8K) video signals. It will push forward the standardization (VSF, SMPTE), deliver a functional prototype and demonstrate its usage in real studio scenarios. These bridges will bring 8K video products operating without any impact on image quality and latency thanks to low latency implementations of mezzanine compressions JPEG2000 and TICO. |
