| Project Topic | This consortium will develop novel functionalized enantiomerically pure polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA’s) and 3-hydroxycarboxylic acids derived from it. The chiral 3-hydroxycarboxylic acids will be utilized as chiral synthons for fine chemistry (pharma) and as monomers in order to produce innovative homo-polymers and co-polymers for high-value markets. |
