| Project Topic | The goal of the HySpine project is to develop a new spinal implant: a Pedicle Screw System. This new implant will improve patient quality-of-life, simplify follow-up by clinicians, and rationalise overall healthcare costs and risks. The consortium will apply a new hybrid composite processing and design approach to develop one of the first metal-free Pedicle Screw Systems in the market, which will not affect medical imaging (MRI, CT-scan, etc.) nor attenuate radiotherapy. |
