Project: COnsciousness Monitoring, Assessment, prediction and Life activities with EEG in Real Time
Our goal is to deliver a system called ComAlertSys to help comatose patients and persons with disorders of consciousness (DOC). Recent publications showed that conventional means to diagnose these patients are inadequate and subjective. Up to 43% of DOC patients are not correctly diagnosed. ComAlertSys will provide early and quantitative diagnoses, rehabilitation and communication opportunities and prediction of recovery likelihood in comatose and DOC patients.
