Project: Development of ultrasonic circular sawing technology with disk shaped tools
Develop and set-up the system technologies for ultrasonic (US) assisted circular sawing, slicing, and abrasive cutting. Key to this project is the development of the US actuator and the integration of this component into fast-rotating circular sawing machines, for which a mass-market exists. This project deals with a completely new approach, which goes significantly further than the state of the art and which would give the end-user significant advantages compared to the conventional technology.
