Project: Fast and Reliable Monitoring of Infrastructure by Small UAVs

Main goal of the project is the development and evaluation of a novel monitoring system (laser scanning, camera system and an UAV) for infrastructure elements. Such infrastructure elements can be parts of a railway track, parts of roads or corresponding supporting elements (e.g. buildings, installations, etc.). We will deliver the whole system incl. hardware and software for analyzing, storing and handling the data sets.
