Project: Pushing the limits of high Aspect Ratio Drilling with the Laser MicroJet©
Drilling with high aspect ratios is highly-demanded in different industries for applications like turbine hole or nozzle drilling. New designs require aspect ratios of > 50. The Laser Microjet© technology has several benefits compared to other technologies since its tool is theoretically suitable for aspect ratios up to a few hundreds. By improving the process understanding of this technology new applications will be enabled and will lead to an outstanding position of the participants.
