Project: Encapsulated tannins for piglets nutrition
We want to develop an innovative formula that is based on natural products such as tannins. In PIGTAN project, different sources of tannins will be studied to adequately characterize their structure, and the most suitable one will be selected for piglets feed. Encapsulation process of the tannins will be also studied to solve problems concerning feed intake reduction due to the presence of tannins in animal feed.
