Project: FRIDASTEM: A novel drug discovery platform delivering breakthrough cancer stem cell (CSC) drugs
FRIDASTEM aims at building a novel platform for screening fragments and small molecule libraries against unexplored CSC-specific GPCRs and kinases involved in CSC proliferation, migration and invasion. The platform will be offered for screening services after validation: by using known inhibitors and by identifying new molecular entities (NME) with anticancer properties. Selected hits will be optimized towards early leads. At least one lead will be chosen to for further preclinical development.
