Project: HepaPlateTM – High throughput Organ-on-a-Chip model for Liver Toxicity Screening
We will develop an Organ-on-a-Chip hepatotoxicity-screening platform for toxicological evaluation of small molecules (Annex A). This innovative, high throughput approach combines Medicyte’s unlimited source of upcyte® Cells and MIMETAS OrganoPlates™ (Annex C). The liver model will consist of 3D hepatocyte organoids with sinusoidal endothelial and immune cells (Annex B). The HepaPlate™ will be validated for a compound library with known hepatotoxicity profiles.
