Project: Low-cost deposition of scratch-resistant coatings against metal allergy and bacterial infection
Advancement of a novel low-cost atmospheric pressure plasma deposition (APPD) technique for new biofunctional multi-layered polymer-ceramic nanocomposite coatings to minimize risks of metal contact-allergy (Ni, Cr, Co, V, Pd), Ti peri-implantitis, and provide anti-microbial protection for skin-contact commodities, clinical devices, osteosynthesis and dental implants.
