Project: Microfluidic tissue processor (MTP) for integrated in situ sequencing (ISS)
We will develop a fully automated platform that combines a state-of-the-art microfluidic device with breakthrough in situ sequencing technology (ISS), allowing for massively multiplexed mapping of tissue biomarkers. It bridges the gap between conventional in situ hybridisation (ISH) technologies and next generation sequencing (NGS). Our product comprises a low-cost hardware setup integrated into a microscope and biochemical assay kits. It will enable routine use of ISS in molecular diagnostics.
