Project: Monitoring and preventing maturing, decay & rot of fruit in postharvest storages

In FRESHFRUIT we develop a ultra fast microsensor system platform based on GC methods, MEMS technology and remote access. The system platform is special developed for a monitoring system to detect the increase of maturation, rot and decay of fruit during long term storage. The system platform is build in a universal way based on MEMS technology so that the system platform can be configured for many type of fruits due to the broad spectrum of marker gasses that comes from rot process of fruit.
