Project: S1 POF: Gigabit Ethernet Single Plastic Optical Fiber Transceiver (S1 POF)
We will design a new generation of GBE POF transceiver, able to support full duplex gigabit ethernet on a Single Plastic Optical Fiber. This "Single Fiber" evolution should allow all the "communication" ecosystem to reduce the cost of the data transport by a factor 2. We will build a transceiver demo board allowing the demonstration of Gigabit Ethernet signal over Single Plastic Optical Fiber. cfr : General_Diagram.pdf annexe
