Develop a safety microneedle for delivery of drugs and other substances intradermally with the following attributes: • An embedded microneedle for exact skin penetration • Meet needle safety guidelines • Integral spike to reduce number of parts & steps for use, eliminate conventional aspiration needles, and improve ease of use • Accurate and precise low volume delivery required for ID applications • Work with conventional off the shelf vials • Low residual volume • Low cost in high volumes
