Project: SenSuit Safety System for Emergency Responders
Design an intuitive safety system for firefighters. Integrating state-of-the art wearable electronics for sensing and actuating, a vehicle mounted RF positioning system and a commander terminal. The vehicle mounted localisation system lets the commander see where his people are, and enables him to communicate and coordinate. The suit lets fire fighters sense vital sensor information continuously on their skin. Tactile information lowers the cognitive load and keeps ears, eyes and hands free.
