Project: Silicon Plastic Readout Gamma Detection Technology

We want to replace the major cost driving and performance limiting component of the most widely used technology to detect ionizing radiation with a device which costs less, is more robust, smaller and improves detection performance. In addition, the legacy device limits the shape of the radiation detector and thus the application in which these detectors can be used. The new technology will remove such restrictions and thus open up possibilities for completely new fields of applications.
