Project: A Digital Tool for Durability Assessment of Flexibles

The consortium plans to develop a software tool for simulation based assessment of the durability of cables and hoses, to be used in the digital validation of assembly and disassembly processes. Based on the same technology, the tool will be likewise useful in the virtual planning of robotic manufacturing processes, as it provides the possibility to simulate mechanical loads on robot dress packs due to dynamic robot motions.
