Project: Demonstration and validation of a novel approach to European lobster aquaculture

To develop and demonstrate an automation system for daily tracking, feeding, and handling of European lobster (EL) to be integrated into a patented single-cage technology for lobster farming in Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS). DEVAELA will facilitate up scaling of a ground-breaking lobster rearing concept to commercial production [+150 MT/year], allowing us to operate the world’s first full-scale, land-based lobster production farm supplying high-quality, plate-size EL.
