Project: Development, combination, formulation and encapsulation of bioactives from microalgae for skin care

The project aims to produce DHA/EPA, Arachidonic acid and Astaxanthin from microalgae to develop a super-premium cosmetic ingredient based on their combination. The bioingredients will be mainly commercialized in the nutra-cosmetic markets, and the super premium skin formulation with an innovative delivery system will be focused on pharma-cosmetic, directed to specific skin disorders (e.g. acne, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, drying and flaking skin).
