Project: Multiphoton FLIM tomograph for vertical optical biopsies
An ultra-compact, portable, easy-to-handle, lightweight, and cost effective femtosecond laser imaging system to investigate skin modifications by vertical in vivo histology will be developed and build. The system, outfitted with a novel femtosecond laser, will generate within seconds images with metabolic information of living human skin with sub-cellular spatial and picosecond temporal resolution. The novel vertical imaging will allow a direct comparison with standard biopsies.
