Project: New polymer housing for turbocharger compressors in the automotive industry

Main project result: functioning prototype of new polymer housing for turbo-compressors in automotive industry. Project goal is to provide new solution to current state-of-the-art of manufacturing aluminium housings in automotive industry which will allow manufacturers to accelerate substitution of aluminium with polymer components in turbocharging system and achieve significant reductions in weight, CO2 emissions and production costs for high-volume vehicles – with identical functionality.
