Project Topic	Buildings close to railways are polluted by Groundborne Noise (GBN), generated by railway vibration. BIOVib develops new cost efficient & reliable Building Base Isolation (BBI) systems for buildings to keep GBN to set comfort levels by developing a BBI Insertion Loss indicator quantifying acoustic performance. Cost-efficiency will come from development of higher load bearing capacity resilient systems, combined with new methods to test & control GBN reduction.
