Project Topic	Development of a new generation of personalised (non-standard) brazed PCD (Polycrystalline Diamond) tipped-tools, with improved high-quality diamond as well as complex geometry, including chip-breakers and sharp edges. These tools will be addressed to machine aircraft components made of titanium and aluminium alloys. The concept of the new tool geometries will be supported by FEM machining simulation, non-conventional laser technologies and 3D in-situ confocal control.
