Project Topic	The consortium will develop the first pharmaceutical treatment for AHDS, a rare type of X-linked mental retardation associated with physical disability and premature death. The project will advance this orphan drug towards marketing approval by conducting a Phase IIb clinical trial in young AHDS children, improving development of diagnostic and monitoring methods relating to the condition, optimize the formulation, interact with key regulatory agencies and develop the relevant documentation.
