| Project Topic | We will design a novel multi-energy x-ray imaging system, the MEIRS, with many degrees of freedom for use in medical disciplines highly depending on interventional image guidance (e.g. radiotherapy, image-guided surgery). It will provide high-quality 2D&3D images of the patient by featuring advanced image reconstruction, Field Of View (FOV) optimization and reduction of imaging dose as well as extraction of quantitative measures for immediate use in interpretation, intervention and treatment. |
