Project Topic | SKOPE will provide dermatologists with a non-invasive, hand-held in vivo microscope, that can diagnose early-stage skin cancer. The technique will offer images close to histology by combining cutting-edge Optical Coherence Tomography (DAMAE) with unique supercontinuum laser technology (NKT). It will overcome the current technical limitations to deliver unmatched diagnostic performances with an accuracy >90% at a competitive cost (<120k€). It is expected to significantly improve cancer care. |
