Existing QKD systems are bulky and based on discrete components, limiting their applications in large telecom infrastructure. As a building block for a complete QKD infrastructure, an Integrated Photonic QKD Platform will enable: significant size and cost reductions; simplify calibration, and facilitate scalability & network implementation. |
