Project: Correct Treatment of Stroke Resting on CT and Neural Networks
Acronym | CornerStone (Reference Number: 12122) |
Duration | 01/07/2018 |
Project Topic | Combat Stroke’ (CS) current technology uses Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans to examine blood flow and tissue integrity in acute ischaemic stroke (AIS) patients. This project will develop artificial intelligence algorithms using patient cohorts to predict the likely evolution of brain injury during an AIS. We will develop a new Clinical Decision Support (CDS) software that can extract patterns from Computed Tomography (CT) images, expanding on the applicability the technology. |
