| Project Topic | The consortium will develop a novel microneedle array for intradermal vaccination (IDMA) to protect against pneumococcal infections (IDMA-VAC). The device consisting of atom-sharp microneedles will be tested to deliver an Outer Membrane Vesicle (OMV) based vaccine, which will allow vaccination with minimal pain and optimal precision at a low cost, providing broad protection. After the project, the IDMA-VAC will be ready for clinical testing and development. |
