Project Topic	The main goal of SiooCanProtect is to develop a homogenous and stable pigmented Sioo:x protecting system. New durable and sustainable staining systems with good penetration of silicate into the wood material, is a major challenge. We focus on the optimization of our recipes for industrial application on Canadian wood species, which are notoriously difficult to impregnate. We must perform accredited standard tests and thereby obtain the certificates needed for a successful market introduction.
