| Project Topic | We aim to generate a novel photon-counting energy-selective CT detector technology for use in diagnostic and interventional CT. This technology enables simultaneous acquisition of up to 4 different x-ray spectra, allowing improved visualization of various anatomical regions in a single CT scan. To this goal, multi-spectral contrast agents and image reconstruction techniques will be developed, allowing for quantitative spectral CT imaging providing high quality CT images at a low radiation dose. |
