Project: Airborne Instrument for Reliable Shallow Water Imaging and Mapping

Project Topic	The consortium proposes to design, manufacture and demonstrate the use of an airborne system for 3D imaging of shallow water areas with high precision and at low cost. Based on a novel flash imaging LiDAR integrated onto an UAV, the platform shall enable the mapping of coastal areas, the monitoring of underwater infrastructures and the detection of objects beneath the water surface in real-time. Validation in environmental conditions will confirm the system readiness to access various markets.
